Friday we took in the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Scottsdale with Jeff and Deb. It was a beautiful sunny day, with a record-setting attendance for day 2, of over 121,000, and watched some great golf at the 16th hole. It is a wild place to be and the stadium setting around the par 3 must be intimidating for some players. If their ball rolls off the green or lands in the sand the ''boo birds'' are relentless!! The caddy races (and the crowd betting on them) was a new experience. We had great seats on the rail and saw most of the groups play through. A terrific day! Another thing to cross off the "bucket list".
